We enjoyed a very special dinner at Jessica’s. The atmosphere begs for you to relax and stay while. We did. The Strawberry Paloma (made skinny without lemon lime soda and seltzer instead) and the Whiskey Sling were a nice way to begin. Staff was warm, menu compelling, and food outstanding. Extremely accommodating of DF/GF needs. I ordered the scallop special that was DF and accommodation made for GF. My husband had a Caesar Salad (one of the best ever!) and the Swordfish. We shared their yummy French fries bc potato lovers should never skip those prepared in duck fat. ;). The sommelier gave us a wonderful introduction to some white wines that were new to us. He knows his stuff!

We had an amazing dinner for my wife's birthday. The pork belly was to die for. My wife loved the steak frites, while I thoroughly enjoyed the special that night of venison medallions. And trust us, save room for dessert.

The service and atmosphere were great. My boyfriend had the chicken and I had the steak frites-in both, the meats were melt in your mouth. On top of all that, it was our anniversary and they went above and beyond by offering complementary champagne.

Delicious food, outstanding service, impeccable atmosphere and creative cocktails. My partner had the blue cheese crusted tenderloin which was phenomenal. My liver pate and caesar salad were very good. Wine list is extensive and had a really nice orange wine by the glass. The front library room is cozy with a warm fireplace and a fantastic mix of contemporary art and historical artifacts. We were too tired to hang out in the bar and enjoy some of their cocktails from the resident mixologist; if you are there on a Friday, be sure to join their weekly cocktail event. As guests in the Inn, we also had breakfast (included) which was excellent, and featured wild blueberry pancakes and homemade granola.

Well, this was just a devine dinner. Service is excellent, ambiance is wonderful, and the food is amazing. I swear my chicken was poached in butter, or maybe sous vide in butter? The point is that the chicken was amazing. We also had the gnocchi, and my wife and I were passing our plates back and forth. My wife had some vegetables for an appetizer, I think they called it "salad?" I'm not sure. I think it was French. I had the pork belly, and it was so tasty. Now, after all that food, we didn't have room for desert, but we split one anyway. We got the Ginger Toffey Pudding. This is "pudding" in the English sense, meaning it is a very moist and delicious cake. Don't sleep on this. You won't be disappointed, I promise. Oh, I almost forgot, we had the duck fat fries. Yes... yes... yes. Delicious.

Our family has been staying at the Swift House Inn for over a decade, this was the first time we decided to try Jessica's. We had a fantastic time. Service was friendly and prompt, and the attention we got from the sommelier really enhanced our experience. We enjoyed the tuna tartare and braised pork belly as appetizers, and our family tried three different dishes for entrees. The seafood pasta was served over fresh house-made fettuccine; the filet was perfectly cooked medium-rare and delicious with beet greens. Our daughter shared her gnocchi with us and enjoyed it so much we ended up getting a second order! Deserts were likewise fantastic. This was our first time at Swift House since the new owners took over, and they have made some wonderful updates while still honoring the historic character of the property. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!
